Project Overview
When a woman or teen mother flees violence, the first 24 hours can determine her future —
or her survival.
“A Safe Place” is KHAF’s emergency shelter initiative, designed to offer secure, confidential
housing, crisis counseling, legal assistance, and crisis intervention for women and teen
mothers escaping domestic violence.
KHAF aims to establish four fully functional safe shelters across Rwanda.
